Fun Facts about

California Native Plants

California  has about 6,000 species, subspecies and varieties of native plants.  Native plants use on average 10% to 20% of the water needed for the average lawn, which makes them a great choice for water conservation.  In addition, native plants are very low maintenance once established, meaning less work for you! Using native plants near fruit & vegetable gardens can increase yield up to 20% due to increased pollinators.
